If you’ve never been to a conference hosted by the guys at BlueGlass, you’ve been missing out. If you have been, you know how awesome it would be to get a FREE ticket for BlueGlass TPA, which runs September 26th & 27th, 2011 in Tampa, Florida. Regular admission is $795, but we’re going to hook one lucky person up with a free ticket. You’re definitely going to want to get in on this. It will be an amazing time. As the guys & gals over at BlueGlass put it “Come to learn. Come to network. Come to have fun. Leave with experience that will last a lifetime….”
So, How Do I Get My Grubby Little Hands on That Free Ticket?
Here’s the plan. The awesome centaur/scientist below is working on becoming our new mascot. We’ve been so busy working on new products like our Partner API that he has gone unnamed for too long. That’s where you and this contest come in. Whoever comes up with the best name and biography for this guy will win.
How Will This Contest Work?
Round 1: Submissions
Get creative and come up with a name and bio for our new mascot and post that information on your site/blog. Once you have done that, come back to this page and post a link in the comments to what you’ve come up with.
This portion of the contest runs from July 22, 2011 to midnight on August 12, 2011. We will spend a few days looking through the entries and deciding on the top 5.
Round 2: Voting
The top 5 submissions will be voted on through Twitter and Facebook. Specific instructions and links will be posted here prior to the start of round 2. Anyone caught creating fake profiles for the purpose of voting for themselves or friends will be tied up and forced to listen to Rick Astley for no less than 6 hours along with being disqualified from participation.
Rules & Disclaimer
Void where prohibited. Have fun. Make sure you can afford to attend before participating. You are responsible for paying for your own travel, lodging, meals, and booze (although we may buy the winner a tequila shot or two).
What if I’m really impatient and just want to buy my ticket RIGHT NOW?
Geez Mr. Impatient…You can buy a ticket here. There are only 50 tickets being sold, so don’t wait.
